If the Chronicle investigation is accurate, then we have an emergency situation in Texas and the Texas Legislature should be called into Special Session to address the danger of executing innocent people.
This is not the first time that a major newspaper has reported that an innocent person was likely executed in Texas. Read this artice from The Chicago Tribune that concluded that Cameron Willingham could also have been innocent when he was executed by Texas on February 17, 2004.
